The Challenge
The agency used a "customer portal" given to them by their previous AMS provider. Only 12 active customers used the portal. They wanted a platform that would help their 100 year old agency move into the "modern times" and help them improve customer adoption.

The Solution
C.L. Finlan Insurance chose GloveBox to bring their agency into the modern-era and implemented the GloveBox client rollout campaigns to provide a self-service option to clients and reduce their service expenses.

The Results
In 2024 C.L. Finlan Insurance customers used GloveBox to process 353 premium payments, and view 416 documents (approximately 94 CSR hours saved).
How C.L. Finlan Insurance Succeeds With GloveBox
So the biggest way we got clients on board was that initial rollout GloveBox does for the agencies. It’s phenomenal.
It’s really hands off on the agency side. A lot of it is just taken care of from GloveBox itself, and that’s where a lot of our initial clients enrolled and signed up for GloveBox, and they still use it now.
The the other thing we’ve made sure we did is putting our invite button in our email signatures, and updating our website so that it funnels everybody into GloveBox.
The biggest one is bill pays. We have more activity on bill pays than anything else, which is awesome because that was a giant time suck for the agency when somebody was calling in, and nine times out of ten, we have to get conferenced in with the carrier to get the bill taken care of.
Now they’re going directly there, and it frees up our service team to do the things that we want to do, like renewal reviews, retain clients, and other activities like that.
They saw this at first as just an additional complicated step, which it’s not even close to. It’s easier to upload documents in GloveBox than to attach it in any agency management system.
So really just getting them to get in there and get used to how easy it actually is, was huge.
It started off as, “hey, we have this new customer portal. Please get in there and try to use it.”. It’s transitioned to, “hey, it’s required that you upload renewal documents into this customer portal before your renewal reviews”.
That’s something that we’ve tracked, and, GloveBox has helped me get data on who’s using it so that if there was somebody who wasn’t, we kept on top of them to make sure that as an agency, everybody was on board with, moving forward with the portal.
I will say our CSAs are handling bigger books than they were when we rolled it out, and I think that having that freed up time is probably making that transition easier than it would have been.
